The Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) has raised concerns over a surge in fake recruitment and contract advertisements circulating on social media, describing them as sophisticated scams designed to defraud the public.

In an official statement, GETFund stressed that it does not recruit staff or solicit contractors and suppliers through unofficial platforms, particularly not on social media.

GETFund urged the public to exercise caution and verify any such announcements only through its official website or verified social media accounts. The Fund also encouraged individuals to report suspicious activity to the nearest police station or directly to its secretariat at East Legon, opposite Trinity Theological Seminary in Accra.

Reaffirming its dedication to transparency and good governance, GETFund called on Ghanaians to help safeguard public institutions by staying alert and reporting scams.
