This was announced in a press statement by Mr Kwame Mickey of the old Ghanaian gospel group, Halleluyah Voices.

The dispute that arose in a couple of weeks about the supposed copyright infringement in the ‘defe defe’  song by Team Eternity has been resolved amicably.

This was announced in a press statement by Mr Kwame Mickey of the old Ghanaian gospel group, Halleluyah Voices.

After this new song by Team Eternity was shot to fame, Mr. Kwame Mickey, in various interviews alleged a copyright infringement against them for lifting a phrase from his old song and announced his intention to pursue legal action against the team.

However, a press statement, dated July 1, states that;

“The parties have duly entered into a Licence Agreement under Kwame Mickey grants to TEG the non-exclusive right to use in the New song, those words derived from the Existing song.”

It adds that; ‘The parties thank all those who helped them reach this amicable resolution.”
