196 new lawyers called to the Ghana Bar

Today, May 5, 2023, at the International Conference Centre in Accra, the Mini Call Class of 2022 was presented and called to the Bar
As is the custom each year, the General Legal Council(GLC) organizes a Mini Call where new lawyers who for certain reasons, were not presented for the main call, are given the chance and duly called to the Ghana Bar.
Today, May 5, 2023, at the International Conference Centre in Accra, the Mini Call Class of 2022 was presented and called to the Bar.
In all, a total of 196 fresh lawyers comprising Professional Law and Post-Call graduates were presented with their certificates.
Among the tall list of participants, was the former SRC president of the Ghana School of Law, Victor Wonder Kutor who was also called.
Earlier, a petition had been presented by someone who identifies as a concerned citizen against Mr. Kutor’s Call to the Bar.
However, today, after his name was mentioned amidst cheers and applause from the other fresh lawyers, Mr. Kutor could be seen in posture, calm, sober, and in a very excited mood as he shook the Chief Justice’s hand, collected his certificate, and posed for a photo.
Present at the event were the Chief Justice, His Lordship Anin Yeboah, The Attorney General, The President of the Ghana Bar Association, and Justices of the Superior Courts.
