42nd Martyrs Day Remembrance Service to be held at Calvary Baptist Church

This year’s event is scheduled at the Calvary Baptist Church in Shiashie, Accra, on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at exactly 9 am.
The Ghana Bar Association, in collaboration with the Judiciary, has announced the commemoration of the 42nd Martyrs Day Celebration.
This year’s event is scheduled at the Calvary Baptist Church in Shiashie, Accra, on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at exactly 9 am.
The guest preacher for the event is Rev. Dr. Fred Deegbe of the Ghana Baptist Convention.
In observance of Martyrs Day, the Ghana Bar Association further communicates that no court will be sitting across the country on Friday, June 28, 2024.
All lawyers are notified that the dress code for the celebration remains a dark suit with bibs (no wig, no gown).
June 30, which is Martyrs Day, is commemorated every year to remember the three murdered Honourable Justices of the High Court of Justice, Ghana, namely, Mr. Justice Fred Poku Sarkodie, Mrs. Justice Cecilia Koranteng-Addow, and Mr. Justice K.A. Agyepong.
