On Wednesday, 23rd July 2025, the firm received official authorization to begin operations in Singapore, marking a strategic expansion aimed at connecting African and Asian markets.

After more than a decade of delivering cross-border legal and advisory support through its independent offices in Ghana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Uganda, and Kenya and partner firms in over 30 African countries, AB & David Africa is charting new territory in Asia.

On Wednesday, 23rd July 2025, the firm received official authorization to begin operations in Singapore, marking a strategic expansion aimed at connecting African and Asian markets. The new Singapore outfit will begin as a consultancy focused on African markets and will serve as a springboard for broader regional engagement.

The move aligns with ABDA’s long-term strategy to provide integrated legal and business advisory services for Asian investors eyeing Africa, as well as African businesses engaging with Asia-based partners.

“With Asia’s growing interest in Africa and Africa’s increasing outbound engagements, Singapore offers an ideal base for expanding our ability to support cross-border transactions,” said David Ofosu-Dorte, Senior Partner at ABDA. “This is a significant step forward in our journey. We look forward to the formal launch at the end of August in Singapore.”

AB & David Africa is a pan-African business law firm with a global outlook, dedicated to helping clients succeed across Africa. Through a blend of local expertise and regional reach, the firm offers seamless support for complex, multi-jurisdictional projects and investments across the continent.
