The Adenta Circuit Court has granted bail to Salomey Awiti Baffoe, who is facing allegations of acting as an accomplice to controversial Ghanaian TikToker, Ghana Jollof.
The court admitted Baffoe to bail in the sum of GH¢100,000 with two sureties. Both sureties are required to be civil servants earning at least GH¢3,000 a month.
Baffoe was represented in court by the Member of Parliament for Manhyia South, Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, who welcomed the decision to grant her bail.
She was arrested on September 13, 2026, at her home in Hansua, near Techiman in the Bono East Region.
The case attracted public attention after reports emerged about the circumstances surrounding her arrest and detention.
According to those reports, three individuals who identified themselves as National Security operatives arrived at the 40-year-old mother of three’s residence at about 11:30 p.m. and took her away.
Her family was subsequently said to have faced difficulty establishing where she had been taken.
Reports further indicated that officials of the Bono East Regional Police Command and Regional National Security initially said they had no record of the operation.
Baffoe has now secured bail as the case against her continues before the court.
