The Constitutional Review Committee (CRC) has announced a change in venue for its upcoming public engagement session in Tamale, scheduled for Wednesday, June 18, 2025.
In a statement signed by the Committee’s Secretary, Dr. Rainer Akumperigya, the CRC said the event will now be held at the Modern City Hotel Conference Centre (Big Hall 1) in Tamale, Northern Region. All other details—including the time and structure of the programme—remain unchanged.
The Committee extended apologies for any inconvenience caused by the shift and urged all participants, invited stakeholders, and members of the public to take note of the new venue.
The Tamale session is part of a nationwide consultation exercise to gather public input on Ghana’s 1992 Constitution, with the goal of informing future constitutional amendments.
“This engagement is an important opportunity for citizens to contribute to the shaping of Ghana’s democratic future,” the statement emphasized. “Your voice matters, and we look forward to your participation.”
