The order was issued on June 19, 2026, by Justice Franklin Titus-Glover in Suit No. GJ12/78/26.

The New Patriotic Party has been stopped from taking further action on the Afigya Sekyere East Constituency Polling Station Executive Album following an order of the High Court in Kumasi.

The interim injunction bars the party and its officials from continuing with processes connected to the compilation and approval of the album.

The order was issued on June 19, 2026, by Justice Franklin Titus-Glover in Suit No. GJ12/78/26.

Under the ruling, the NPP, its agents, servants and officers are restrained from uploading, finalising, validating, certifying or approving any further processes relating to the album.

The court also prohibited any alteration, deletion or interference with data that has already been uploaded in connection with the polling station executive records.

The case was filed by Adu Mensah of Agona in the Afigya Sekyere East Constituency.

He brought the application through his lawyers against the NPP and six others.

The NPP is listed in the suit as a political party registered under the Political Parties Act, 2000, Act 574, with its national headquarters at Asylum Down in Accra.

As part of the order, the court directed that a complete and unredacted list of all aspirants vetted and certified by the Polling Station Election Committee in the constituency be submitted to the Registrar of the High Court.

The list must be deposited within 48 hours.

The court further ordered that the documents remain in its custody for ten days.

The injunction follows complaints by some aggrieved members of the party in the constituency over the handling of internal electoral processes and the compilation of polling station executive records.

The application for interim injunction was supported by an affidavit filed on June 17, 2026.

The matter is expected to return to court for further proceedings.
