The Ghana Education Service (GES) has cautioned the public to disregard a fraudulent letter making the rounds on social media, which falsely claims that financial clearance has been granted for the recruitment of 50,000 teaching and non-teaching staff.
In a statement dated September 21, 2025, and signed by the Head of Public Relations, Daniel Fenyi, GES stressed that the letter is fake and did not originate from its offices.
It further emphasized that no such recruitment exercise has been announced.
The Service assured the public that any genuine recruitment exercise would be officially communicated only through the Ghana Education Service and Ministry of Education’s accredited channels.
GES also urged citizens to be vigilant and report any fraudulent activities associated with the fake recruitment notice.
“The public is advised to disregard the fake letter and report any fraudulent activities linked to it,” the statement read.
