The Ghana Bar Association has officially selected the new auditorium of the Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (SDD-UBIDS) as the venue for its 2025 Annual Bar Conference scheduled for September.
In a courtesy call to the Vice Chancellor, Professor Emmanuel Kanchebe Derbile, on March 13, 2025, the association's heads officially informed the school about the choice.
Led by its President, Mrs. Efua Ghartey, Esq., the delegation highlighted the significance of hosting the prestigious event at SDD-UBIDS. Professor Derbile welcomed the decision and assured the Association of the University’s full support.
This marks a historic moment, as it will be the first time the Annual Conference is held in the Upper West Region. The gathering is expected to attract over 1,500 legal professionals, benefiting the university’s School of Law and significantly boosting the institution’s prominence on a national scale.
