His Lordship Justice Francis Koffie is set to be installed as a Canon of the Cathedral Church of St. Cyprian the Martyr in Kumasi on Sunday, October 25, 2026.
The installation ceremony, organised under the auspices of the Anglican Diocese of Kumasi in the Church of the Province of West Africa, will take place at St. Cyprian’s Anglican Cathedral at 3:00 p.m.
According to an official invitation issued by the Diocese, the installation will be conducted by the Very Rev. Michael Opoku-Twumasi, Dean of the Cathedral.
The Bishop of Kumasi, the Rt. Rev. Oscar Christian Amoah, will preside over the ceremony.
The office of Canon is an ecclesiastical position within the Anglican Church, traditionally associated with membership of a cathedral chapter and responsibilities connected with the spiritual, liturgical and administrative life of the cathedral.
The upcoming installation will formally recognise Justice Koffie in this capacity at St. Cyprian’s Anglican Cathedral.
The Cathedral Chapter is coordinating arrangements for the ceremony, which is scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
