The properties comprise an apartment and a guest house in Accra, a house in Spain, and church premises at Tema.

Gospel musician Florence Obinim is asking the High Court in Accra to award her four properties as part of the reliefs sought in her divorce petition against Bishop Daniel Kwadwo Obinim.

The properties comprise an apartment and a guest house in Accra, a house in Spain, and church premises at Tema.

In the amended petition, dated October 12, 2026, Florence maintains that the assets accumulated during the marriage were acquired through the couple’s joint efforts and contributions.

The properties she specifically wants the court to settle on her are:

1. An apartment in Accra

Florence is seeking ownership of the apartment at No. 99 Nii Kwei Mensah Street, with digital address GD-171-0162. She asks that the property be settled on her absolutely.

2. A guest house in Accra

She is also requesting ownership of a guest house at No. 12 Nii Kwei Mensah Street, with digital address GD-171-0162, to be settled on her absolutely.

3. A house in Spain

The petition seeks an order granting her a house at Placa Llibertat 3, Entresuelo 4, 08905 L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, Spain.

4. Church premises at Tema

Florence further asks the court to settle the church premises at L1/MKT/A/35, Kofi Annan Street, with digital address GT-217-8173, on her for her ministerial work.

The four properties form part of a wider list of assets Florence says the couple acquired during their marriage.

In support of her claims, Florence says her talent and reputation as a musician helped grow the International God’s Way Church. She also states that she suspended her music career for nine years to support the church’s development and took primary responsibility for caring for the couple’s three children.

Apart from the properties, she is seeking GH¢4 million in alimony, custody of the children, GH¢10,000 in monthly child maintenance, and provision for their healthcare.
