In a remarkable display of academic brilliance and resilience, Nana Danquah Adjei Domson, Esq., has etched his name in Ghana’s legal history as the youngest lawyer to be called to the Bar at the age of 21. Hailing from Breman Asikuma in the Central Region, his journey from a small-town classroom to the hallowed halls of the Ghana School of Law is nothing short of inspirational.

Born on April 12, 2004, Domson’s intellectual journey began at Breman Asikuma Colonel Baidoo Basic School, where he completed his primary education at the age of 12. His exceptional academic pace continued when he entered Breman Asikuma Senior High School and later transferred to Life International College in Tema, completing his secondary education at 15.

At an age when most of his peers were still navigating adolescence, Domson had already set his sights on the law. In 2019, he gained admission into the University of Cape Coast Faculty of Law, where his discipline and diligence earned him a First Class Honours degree by 2023.

Determined to complete the rigorous professional journey, he proceeded to the Ghana School of Law, Makola, where he studied from 2023 to 2025. On Friday, October 10, 2025, at just 21 years old, he was officially called to the Ghana Bar, making him the youngest person ever to achieve this milestone in the country’s legal history.

Prior to Domson’s feat, the record was held by Akpene Darko Cobbina, who was called to the Bar in 2019 at age 22 and 198 days, surpassing Sarah Adwoa Safo’s previous record of 22 years and 280 days.

Beyond his academic excellence, Domson’s story represents a triumph of perseverance, discipline, and an unyielding pursuit of excellence. From the serene streets of Breman Asikuma to the distinguished corridors of legal authority, his journey embodies hope for Ghana’s younger generation—that with vision and determination, even the most ambitious dreams are within reach.

As he dons his wig and gown, Lawyer Nana Danquah Adjei Domson, Esq. stands as a beacon of youthful brilliance, a testament that greatness is not confined by age but defined by purpose and persistence.
