The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has gifted the Ghana School of Law a modern public address system.
This donation fulfills a promise he made during the school’s matriculation ceremony in February, where new students were inducted into the two-year professional law program.
The initiative aims to improve the educational infrastructure for legal training.
Speaker Bagbin expressed concern over the inadequate infrastructure at the school.
He noted that successive governments have neglected the institution's needs despite its significant contributions to national development through its graduates and urged alumni to offer support in any form to help improve the school’s facilities.
Barima Yaw Kodei Oppong, the director of the school, received the equipment on behalf of the institution's management.
He thanked Speaker Bagbin, stating that the new public address system, which includes advanced speakers and an integrated control system, will greatly enhance the auditory experience in lecture halls and during events.
He also called on other alumni to support the school.
This donation is part of Speaker Bagbin’s larger effort to aid educational institutions nationwide.
