Stonebwoy sues Baba sadiq; demands GHC 3 million as damages

Reigning artist of the year at the Telecel Ghana Music Award, Livingstone Satekla, popularly called Stonebwoy, has sued entertainment critic Baba Sadiq for defamation, demanding GHC 3 million in damages.
The artist is also demanding an order directed at the defendant to delete the defamatory posts and render an unqualified retraction.
This suit follows a post made by Baba Sadiq on his X (formerly Twitter) handle from May 15 to 16, 2024, which the artist deems to be defamatory.
The Statement of Case filed on May 31, 2024, thus particularizes the five different posts made by the defendant on his account between May 15 and 16, 2024.
He is additionally seeking an order from the court for the defendant to delete the said post from his handle.
Also, a perpetual injunction restraining Baba Sadiq from publishing any such defamatory statements against him.
