History was made at Cavendish University Uganda’s 14th graduation when the spotlight fell on three sisters who walked the same path to academic glory—quite literally.
The Abiine triplets — Marysent Kihembo, Marirlyn Kirabo, and Marian Kiconco — captured the audience’s admiration as they strode across the stage in unison at Speke Resort Munyonyo, each clutching a Bachelor of Laws degree and, astonishingly, boasting the exact same CGPA.
The graduation, held under the theme “Empowering Futures: Cultivating Leaders for a Global Tomorrow”, also featured high-profile guests, including former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan, Chancellor of Cavendish, and Dr. Vincent Ogutu, Vice Chancellor of Strathmore University in Nairobi, who delivered the keynote address.
The Abiine sisters’ achievement has now become a defining symbol of determination, sisterhood, and academic excellence — proof that sometimes success really does come in threes.
