Prosecutors allege that between August and December 2025, he posted videos on Facebook, TikTok and YouTube under the handle @Ebonoah, claiming a catastrophic flood would destroy the world on 25 December 2025.
The Adentan Circuit Court has granted bail to Evans Eshun, the man known online as Ebo Noah, setting it at GH₵100,000 and requiring two sureties—with at least one backed by a landed property or a vehicle.
His lawyer, Emmanuel Sarfo, confirmed the court has fixed the next hearing for 18 March 2026.
Eshun, a 33-year-old private security guard, had earlier been remanded into police custody on 2 January 2026, when the court also directed that he undergo a psychiatric examination at a state facility ahead of his return date in court.
Prosecutors allege that between August and December 2025, he posted videos on Facebook, TikTok and YouTube under the handle @Ebonoah, claiming a catastrophic flood would destroy the world on 25 December 2025.
They say he also told viewers he was constructing an ark to rescue people from the predicted disaster.
