The Kaneshie District Court has once again adjourned the case concerning the murder of 38-year-old Immigration Officer, Stephen King Amoah, to November 4, 2025, as police investigations remain ongoing.
The adjournment, which took place on Wednesday, October 22, followed a formal request from the police for a warrant to arrest an additional suspect believed to be on the run.
In contrast to previous court appearances, both the prime suspect, Bright Aweh, and the second accused, Thomas Zigah, also known as Nii Dzaase, arrived early for the hearing.
Meanwhile, relatives and close associates of the deceased officer expressed cautious optimism, commending the police for their persistent efforts in pursuing justice.
Amoah was reported missing on July 3, 2025, after he left home to meet a friend at Ashongman Estate. His charred remains were subsequently discovered on July 9 at Abuom Junction, near Kwabenya, triggering a full-scale police manhunt.
