Evangelist Patricia Asieduaa, widely known as Nana Agradaa, has been convicted by the Accra High Court for unlawfully distributing nude images of a fellow clergyman, bringing a three-year legal battle to a close.

Sitting on Tuesday, 16 December 2025, the court fined her GHS12,000 and ordered her to pay an additional GHS50,000 in compensation to Pastor Emmanuel Appiah Fumum, also known as Osofo Biblical.

The outcome follows a plea bargain agreed between her legal team and state prosecutors, which the court endorsed after confirming that the complainant had been involved in the negotiations and was present during proceedings.

Prosecutors told the court that Agradaa, a former fetish priestess who later became a Christian evangelist, caused the nude images of Pastor Appiah Fumum to be broadcast on her television channel and shared across social media without his consent.

The images were aired during a live programme in which panelists are said to have mocked the pastor, conduct which the state argued was in clear breach of the Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038), which outlaws the non-consensual sharing of intimate images.

Earlier this month, the High Court had directed both sides to formally file the terms of the plea bargain after defence counsel disclosed that discussions with the Office of the Attorney-General were far advanced.

Speaking to journalists after the ruling, Nana Agradaa’s lawyer said opting for a plea deal had brought long-awaited closure.

Agradaa is already serving a 15-year custodial sentence with hard labour in an unrelated case involving fraudulent religious activities, imposed in July 2025.

The latest conviction is one of the most high-profile prosecutions to date under Ghana’s cybersecurity regime and reinforces the legal and financial consequences for those who circulate intimate images without consent.
