The District Court at Asante Akropong has remanded a 28-year-old pastor, Kofi Nyarko, alias Reverend Abronoma, into police custody for his abusive claims against the General Overseer of Holiness of Christ Zion Ministry at Esereso.

When he appeared before the court, the accused was remanded by the court and ordered to reappear on September 08, 2025.

Presenting the fact in court, Police Chief Inspector David Kwabi indicated that the accused had made a TikTok video in which he made wild accusations about Reverend Emmanuel Boakye, alias Ogyaba.

He added that in the said video, the accused person noted that the complainant uses sperm for ordination, engages in indiscriminate abortions within his ministry, and is a false prophet, among other abusive claims.

He was thus arrested on July 19, 2025, at Dunkwa-On-Offin in the Central Region and admitted the same in his caution statement and subsequently charged with offensive conduct conducive to breach of the peace and publication of false news with intent to cause fear and alarm.
