In a statement issued on 12 February, the Ghana Police Service said the intelligence-led operation was carried out on the instructions of the Inspector-General of Police, Christian Tetteh Yohuno.
Police say they have broken up an organised cybercrime operation in Tema, arresting two suspects and freeing 10 victims who were allegedly being held and forced to take part in online fraud.
In a statement issued on 12 February, the Ghana Police Service said the intelligence-led operation was carried out on the instructions of the Inspector-General of Police, Christian Tetteh Yohuno.
The raid took place on 2 February 2026 at Devtraco Estate, Community 25. A joint team from the Special Operations Unit and officers from the Okpoi-Gono District Headquarters, led by ASP Grace Owusua Gyan, conducted the exercise.
Police said the two suspects — Robinson Endurance and Derrick Glory — were arrested without resistance.
The statement said the operation was aimed at rescuing victims, arresting those behind the alleged activity, and stopping cyber fraud schemes already underway.
Police also said photographs of the suspects, the rescued victims and items recovered during the operation have been documented to support investigations and prosecution.
The Okpoi-Gono District Police Command says investigations are continuing and that updates on the case will be provided.
