The suspect, identified as Eric Kenny, is alleged to have attacked Mr Obiri on 13 February 2026, leaving him with multiple stab wounds to the abdomen and left arm.

A man has been arrested over the killing of 56-year-old Enoch Obiri at Soronko Farms near Obomofodensua in the Suhum Municipality, police have said.

The suspect, identified as Eric Kenny, is alleged to have attacked Mr Obiri on 13 February 2026, leaving him with multiple stab wounds to the abdomen and left arm.

Investigators believe the killing may have stemmed from a personal dispute. Preliminary police findings suggest the suspect had on several occasions threatened the deceased over allegations of an affair involving Kenny’s wife.

Police say witness accounts place the suspect in the area around the time of the attack, and that information is now forming part of the case being built against him.

Kenny remains in custody and is assisting with investigations. He is expected to be put before the court in connection with the murder.
