The Ghana Police Service has launched a major manhunt for Mark Agingre, a man believed to be behind a series of gruesome murders in the Binduri District and neighbouring communities in the Upper East Region.
The suspect, described as armed and dangerous, is wanted in connection with multiple killings that have shocked residents and triggered heightened security operations in the area.
According to a police statement, Agingre is the prime suspect in the murder of a man, his wife, and their three children on 7 November 2025. A surviving child is in critical condition at the Bolgatanga Government Hospital.
Investigators have also linked him to an earlier triple homicide on 27 October, involving an elderly man and his two children in the same district. Police believe these incidents may be part of a broader pattern of targeted attacks carried out by the suspect.
The Police have placed a GH₵1 million bounty on Agingre’s head for any credible information leading to his arrest.
Residents are urged to remain vigilant and report any sightings of the suspect to the nearest police station or through the emergency numbers 191 and 18555.
Police patrols have been intensified across the Binduri enclave, while local leaders have been asked to support the ongoing investigation.
Authorities are also advising residents to avoid isolated areas and to immediately alert security forces about any suspicious movement.
The Police assured the public that they remain fully committed to restoring calm and bringing the suspect to justice.
