Djabum, who faces a charge of Fraudulent Transaction of Land under Section 277(2)(a) of the Land Act, 2020 (Act 1036), pleaded not guilty before His Honour Jojo Amoah Hagan.
A 48-year-old private school administrator, Nii Quarshie Djabum, has been hauled before Accra Circuit Court 8 for allegedly defrauding a physician in a shady land deal at Kokrobite, Greater Accra Region.
Djabum, who faces a charge of Fraudulent Transaction of Land under Section 277(2)(a) of the Land Act, 2020 (Act 1036), pleaded not guilty before His Honour Jojo Amoah Hagan.
He was granted GH¢250,000 bail with two sureties, one of whom is backed by landed property, while his title documents are to remain with the court until the case is concluded.
Investigations revealed Djabum had no authority to sell the land and pocketed the proceeds. After his arrest on September 12, 2025, he refunded GH¢200,000 to the complainant and another GH¢50,000.08 to the police, leaving a significant balance unpaid.
The case has been adjourned to October 30, 2025, for further hearing.
