A video showing a Toyota Voxy being driven dangerously on the Kumasi-Accra highway has ended with a two-month jail term for the driver.

The court, presided over by Madam Adwoa Sakyi Asamadu, also fined him 260 penalty units, amounting to GH¢3,120.
If he fails to pay the fine, he will serve an additional 15 days in prison.
Agyarko was charged with driving on the wrong side of the road, causing obstruction, endangering other road users, and driving carelessly and inconsiderately.
Police said he was behind the wheel of a Toyota Voxy with registration number EN 551-26 when the incident occurred.
The footage, which spread widely on social media, prompted investigations by the Motor Traffic and Transport Department.
He was later arrested and put on trial on May 8, 2026.
Agyarko pleaded guilty to all the charges and was convicted on his own plea before sentencing.
The Ghana Police Service said the case reflects its commitment to enforcing road traffic laws and protecting lives on the road.
Prosecutors warned that reckless driving remains a major threat to public safety.
The police urged motorists to comply with road traffic regulations and drive responsibly to protect lives and property.
